PRINT
WITH US
Mirabo Press is committed to working with artists to promote printmaking as an art-making process and to develop alternative techniques along the way. Our extensive facilities, combined with the experience of the Mirabo printers, create exceptional opportunities for artists to contract or collaborate with us, both those who are new to printmaking and those with prior experience, on a variety of print-based processes.
We work with a wide variety of budgets and artistic intentions, offer a free consultation, and welcome you to reach out.
Contract Printing of Limited Editions
The most direct way to work with Mirabo is by contracting us to print an edition. There are myriad options available, including but not limited to etching, relief printing, screenprinting, processes that combine digital prints and traditional techniques, and bookmaking. We do not reproduce existing artwork; instead, we collaborate with artists to create new works - whether one-of-a-kind prints or limited editions.
We work with artists, both from Upstate New York and around the world, and invite anyone interested to inquire. We also partner with universities, galleries, and other institutions to commission museum-quality, hand-pulled editions of prints for events, as gifts to donors, or for exhibition purposes.

One-on-One Program
The One-on-One program is designed as a mini-residency, giving individuals the opportunity to work directly with our master printers without committing to a full residency or large-scale project. This can range from an introduction to printmaking or new processes to extended professional assistance in realizing a new body of work; and may span anything from one half-day session to a series of sessions over time.
We aim to provide artists with the tools and support they need to create the strongest possible versions of the images they envision. Wondering if this program is right for you? Don’t hesitate to get in touch

Collaboration Based Projects
Mirabo is deeply rooted in collaborative practice, an approach we are proud to offer our clients. In addition to the benefits of our contract printing services, collaboration based projects are designed for artists and collectives who want to draw on the broad skill set of the Mirabo printers to determine the most effective way to translate their work into print-based media. We work closely with each client to conceptualize the project and explore the most suitable print methods.
While much of our contract work centers on limited editions of prints and books, we also create one-of-a-kind pieces or design performances in collaboration with our clients. If you have an idea and aren’t quite sure how it fits within our practice, don’t hesitate to reach out - we’d love to talk it through with you.
